SIA WSTS 2009 End-Use Survey

The report is based on total product category shipments (in dollars) from
January 2009 through December 2009 classified by end use in geographic sectors
by the WSTS member companies which elected to participate in the survey plus an
allocation of the amounts estimated for non-participants included in the WSTS
"Blue Book" report for 2009. These estimated amounts were allocated to end use
based on the allocations of the participants in the survey.
The (A) section on each page of the report represents the total reported and
estimated dollars for each end use divided by the total reported and estimated for
the Geographic Sector. The (B) section on each page of the report represents the
total reported and estimated dollars for each end use divided by the total reported
and estimated worldwide shipments.
Section 2 of the End Use Survey are the reported and estimated dollar amounts
compiled for Section 1.
